Beauty essentials that you should always be carrying with you

When you’re trying to pack light, or just want to keep the bare minimum with you when you’re on the go, it can be difficult to scale back your beauty routine and stick to just the essentials.

Regardless of what you plan to be doing, there are a few beauty essentials that we think everyone should be carrying with them.

Keeping your beauty routines minimal is simple when you have highly effective product formulas that work as hard as you do. It’s also all about what works best for you, so feel free to adapt our guide so that it fits your skin!

These are the products that create a minimal makeup and skincare routine that will have you looking—and feeling—amazing at all times.

Here are our beauty essentials that we couldn’t live without.

What are the makeup essentials?

When it comes to a minimal makeup routine, we like to go for products that are multi-use to save on space and time when we’re getting ready on the go.

Things like cream blush can be used on your cheeks and as a lipstick, or your bronzer could also double up as an eyeshadow.

Here is a foolproof makeup routine of products that everyone should have:

  1. Foundation/BB cream
  2. Pressed powder
  3. Bronzer
  4. Cream blush
  5. Mascara
  6. Brow pencil/brow gel

What are the skincare essentials?

We all now know that makeup wipes aren’t going to cut it anymore, having a good skincare routine is the key to happy and healthy skin that ages gracefully.

Your skincare routine doesn’t have to be excessively long to be effective, it can be made up of just a few products and you’ll start to notice a big difference in your skin’s appearance in no time.

Here are the products that we recommend to make up your routine:

  1. Cleanser (If you wear lots of makeup you may want to get an oil cleanser to remove makeup and a water-based cleanser to freshen up the skin)
  2. Serum
  3. Moisturizer
  4. SPF (30 or higher)
  5. Lip balm
  6. Hand cream

Make sure to select products that are fit for your skin type, so if you have dry skin, you’ll be looking for a thicker moisturizer and hydrating serums, whereas if you have oily skin you may prefer a gel moisturizer and pore-shrinking serums to make your skin look incredible.
